After a workout the body is hungry for calories to replenish and repair, more specifically the body is hungry for nutrients (not necessarily just protein). I recommend raw juice to anyone and everyone because they are packed with nutrients. When we make raw juice, we take the healthiest, most nutrient-dense foods on the earth such as kale, spinach, beets, lemon, ginger, and turmeric (just to name a few), and we juice them, leaving us with a drink that is packed with vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, anti-inflammatories, and phytonutrients that help build our immune system, prevent various diseases, and provide us with sustained, long-lasting energy.
