It’s no secret that coffee makes you feel good. But you should also be able to feel good about your coffee.
That’s why we partnered with M-36 Roasters of Whitmore Lake to craft a set of signature blends that are balanced, dependable, and high quality.
The result is three organic, fair-trade varieties, each sourced thoughtfully and roasted to highlight what matters most: flavor and drinkability.
Our signature blends:
Dark Roast
a mix of Colombian, Ethiopian, and Mexican coffee beans. Low-acid, smooth, and bold without being bitter.
Breakfast Blend
Sourced from Colombia, Nicaragua, and Guatemala. Bright, balanced, and easy to drink any time of day.
Decaf
Peruvian coffee beans and Swiss Water Process. Full flavor, no shortcuts, and no chemical processing.
So what’s the big deal about organic? And why does fair trade matter?
For those who have been following the Simply Fresh blog from the beginning, you may remember this post all about the benefits of eating organic. But as a refresher, organic means it's produced without pesticides, fertilizers, or chemicals. It's made sustainably, without any of the chemicals or practices that damage our health and our planet.
Similarly, fair trade ensures a better future for those who cultivate the coffee. When a product says fair trade, you expect that it has been produced by people making a fair wage under good working conditions.
Your overall commitment to buying organic and fair-trade products contributes directly to a healthier ecosystem– cleaner air, land, and water– and a more sustainable future for agriculture and workers in this field.
(Plus organic coffee is naturally higher in antioxidants, so it's better for you, too!)
In short, our coffee is good for people, good for the planet, which makes it a great addition to your morning routine.
Our coffee is sold in one-pound bags of whole beans. But we can always grind it if you need. We also keep a pot of dark roast on throughout the day, so if you're unsure, you can try it for yourself.
